Thanks for the inspiration! I'm writing a modern fantasy of my own, and to explain why a fae character has green blood, I looked up Sulfhemoglobemia (green blood from too much sulfur in your system). It's amazing what kinds of fantasy elements can be explained by 'rare' and 'unusual' medical conditions.
