Some people have been asking me about this stuff so I decided to gather all information in one single article on how to make your own portfolio, in a profesional and clean looking way. I hope it's useful, because these steps I myself take.

I’m sure watching me do this as a process must be aggravating; but I think we have a winner.
The look and feel of this page stems from a suggestion I got from someone about why I was getting so frustrated with my drawings recently - The pencil art was too messy to work with colors on and my inks look like garbage.
"Why don't you do the two as separate layers and keep them both? Oh, and do the coloring like you do pinups if the tones aren’t working."
This was followed by me making that expression where I stand there holding up one finger with my mouth agape franticly searching for a reason not to concede. You know the one.
Yeah. So this is what the end result of that looks like.
I actually like the fact that the work lines are visible... not sure why But I think it adds some character to the page.
Oh, and I changed Errol's dress... I wonder if my brother would be pissed to find out I designed a burnt-out monk after his facial features :3 --->[link]

I wasn't expecting this.
I don't know how i'll feel about this after another (ie) hundred pages of it, but it looks really amazing right now.
It has a sort of "warm" or "soft" feeling, somehow.
*still needs to figure out how to get crisp pencil lines*
